"Sir, you are a /God/ among men."
I love the diversity of the Bazaar. One of Charon's cronies was there--I recognized the scents. He did not seem to know me, though he mentioned something about my smell.
The panther woman was there. She was dressed oddly; I think, perhaps, that she has escaped from Alistair Sharpe's home. One must wonder if he is aware of this. I hope to meet with her again, and perhaps learn a little more about her. If she is seeking Ilse, then my wolf may be in danger. The woman is a behemoth.
Mara was also there, though I believe she was doing her best not to be recognized. Blonde is not a hair color that suits her. She and I managed to have a discussion without tempers flaring. Perhaps this is a good sign.
( 'I cannot stay focused around you. I can't stay /mad/ at you when I should. I should fear you above all others.' [Cyrus, Mara, Sasha, Mercedez, Alaska] )
Life is bustling and active in the Bazaar. Desmond's fashion sense is insulted, Mercedez buys a fake emerald necklace, Alaska and Cyrus trade words, and Huruma confronts Desmond at a perfume booth. Somewhere in there, Desmond and Mara manage to reconcile.
