Punchyerface

"I know you're a prominant member of the shifter community, leader of the Blood Meridian, ex-slave."

I should have known that the Slaver's Guild would start sending out spies to find Babenkov. Damn them.

'About how long do you think the slavers will really leave you alone. When dangerous groups like that back off is when they are the most dangerous. They *could* be waiting for something.' [Hack] )

Desmond runs into Hack again, and the two discuss an alliance. Or . . . Hack offers an alliance and Desmond suspects Hack works for the Slaver's Guild. An alliance does not happen.

Hmmm

"Green's not exactly a safe color to be pushing."

There is apparently a street gang attempting to ensure that they are the sole bearers of the color green. This includes thinly veiled attempts at intimidating local merchants. I shall have to speak with Guildmistress Decarabia about placing more guards within the Bazaar to keep an eye out for these vagabonds. Perhaps the market for green clothing is not the most profitable at this point, but it wouldn't do to have such people believing they can push around the Merchant's Guild.

Nigel will be pleased to learn that I sold his entire inventory in one day. Though perhaps not so pleased that he lost the wager. It was a pleasure to get behind a stall once again. I have missed it.

What would this "Hack" want with me? I am wary.

'After all, it isn't merchants selling to merchants that makes a market, but all those people outside of your guild making the purchases. The demand for your supply.' [Marcell, Hack] )

As a favor to a friend, Desmond mans a clothing stall and makes a sale that catches the eye of Marcell. The two banter over the market for green clothes. Hack makes an appearance and leaves Desmond with a business card. Fun things happen.
